A project funded by the NEXT Foundation was undertaken on behalf of The Mind Lab by the NZCER. This project looked at the impact of the Digital and Collaborative Learning programme on teachers’ reflective practice in the classroom.

Other research projects that Mind Lab staff have been engaged in include:
Teacher Led Innovation Fund 5-065, 2019. Connecting the Dots Beyond. Supporting the lead researcher from Whangarei Girls’ High School, looking at how service learning through tuakana-teina relationships will shift teacher capabilities and confidence to engage Year 9 Music students in supporting primary school students through face-to- face and online modes of communication and skills sharing.
